Nuclear points of Human Rights
Human dignity is the principle on which all human rights are created, as well as the integrity, equality, freedom and life of every human being. Its characteristics of universality, inalienable, indivisible and progressiveness show us the connection of all human rights for every human being throughout the universe.
When one human right is violated, all the others are automatically fragmented.
Basic elements of Criminology
Criminogenesis and criminodynamics are 2 processes through which criminology exercises its investigative work, in order to thoroughly understand the conflict to intervene.
Although we analyze through basic elements such as factors, causes, effects from an interdisciplinary perspective, it is important to note that depending on the type of conflict to be intervened, the level of intervention and vision of application will be. In linear and complex conflicts I talk to you about it.
Convergences between Criminology and Human Rights
Human rights seek to ensure that the dignity, freedom, integrity, equality, and life of every human being, are respected. When any of these basic human rights are violated, an initial conflict emerges, which can at a given moment trigger a series of complex conflicts, where criminology intervenes.
When there is a breach in the human rights of a person, a group, a community or society in general, conflict arises in various forms, types and levels. Here we intervene depending on the case and the stated objective. Awareness and observance of complexity have a great effect on achieving the objective, integrated into criminological interdisciplinarity.

Linear Conflicts vs Complex Conflicts
Initial, or linear, conflicts are usually conflicts that follow the parameter of effect, cause, consequence.
Example:
factor: endogenous, exogenous
cause : Walking down an avenue
cause: A man is running and pushes me
effect : I fall hitting the sidewalk causing a strong blow to the head.
This perspective gives us a basic panorama of observing a conflict, it is the type of observation that predominates in society, and the type of linear chain that we are taught at a certain level in criminological training. But it is also the kind of vision we should stop having if we want to fully understand and resolve conflict meaningfully for everyone involved.
Todo conflicto criminógeno tiene su origen en la violación a derechos humanos, y toda violación a derechos humanos es explicable, argumentable e intervenida eficazmente desde la criminología. Have you already subscribed? I have something for you every week.
